The implemented EVIDEI solution accelerated the inventory count of assets in I.D.C HOLDING

I.D.C. Holding, a.s. is the largest Slovak producer of confectionery and long-lasting pastries, with more than a century of tradition. 
The company produces almost 38 000 tonnes of products, with an annual turnover of approximately 112.6 million Euros. IDC Holding, a.s. covers Figaro Trnava, the bakery Sereď and the seasonal chocolate figurines plant in Cífer.
The most famous products of this company are undoubtedly Horalky, Mila, Tatranky, Kávenky, Verbena herbal candies and Bananas in chocolate.

I.D.C. Holding, a.s. is one of the largest Slovak companies, with more than 1000 employees and a large amount of assets. These has so far been inventoried using pen and paper, which has made the inventory both time and staff-consuming.
We therefore decided to approach the company with an offer of a modern EVIDEI solution that will simplify, refine and speed up the inventory count.

The basis of the solution is the use of QR codes, which are used to mark each piece of inventoried assets. The codes are scanned during the inventory using mobile terminals, which makes the process significantly faster and more accurate. The data from the mobile terminals is transferred to the EVIDEI PC application, which enables easy and transparent processing.

Many assets are located in height or have limited access to them, which had to be taken into account when selecting the scanning equipment. For physical inventory, I.D.C. Holding, a.s. uses ZEBRA TC56 and TC8000 mobile terminals with the EVIDEI mobile application. The TC8000 terminals are equipped with a long-range scanning element, which enables barcode scanning over longer distances.
