Managed warehouse in practice seminar - again a great experience.
The seminar Controlled warehouse in practice - the evolution of automation, which took place on 24.5.2023 in the beautiful modernized congress hall of the Senec Hotel right on the shore of the Sunny Lakes in Senec, was a successful event for us with great content and high attendance.
The seminar was in the spirit of new trends in warehouse automation and brought a lot of new knowledge and inspiration. Our director Michal Fišer welcomed the participants and introduced our company KODYS SLOVAKIA. He was followed by our colleagues Branislav Kalina and Martin Šramo with their advanced warehouse management solutions. At the same time, practical demonstrations of warehouse processes took place.
Mr. Igor Šuňal from PHARMACOPOLA showed us how the introduction of the WMS system has helped them to increase their productivity by more than 20% and reduce the error rate by up to 1/3 over the last 2 years. P. Kozok from TOYOTA MATERIAL HANDLING SLOVAKIA presented how to automate with sense, Boris Keszeg from ZEBRA TECHNOLOGIES talked about the digitalization of the supply chain as a way out of a complex and changing environment with increasing consumer demands.
Dominik Schmidt presented the latest warehouse management software solutions offered by KÖRBER as well as their partner network worldwide. GS1 Slovakia introduced us to current global standards in logistics and BRIGHTPICK demonstrated an autonomous mobile order picking robot in a lecture on the revolution in robotic order picking. In addition, we learned about current trends in WiFi infrastructure and network management from Mr. Peter Majerčák from EXTREME NETWORKS.
Seminar participants had the opportunity to meet and discuss with us and our partners and gain new knowledge that will help them to improve warehouse processes and increase efficiency in warehouse management.
