KODYS SLOVENSKO is changing into KODYS SOLUTIONS
From local system integrator to solutions without borders
When we started in 1995, automatic identification technologies were still an unknown concept to many. Logistics, manufacturing, and retail operated differently, more slowly, and with much less emphasis on data. It was at this time that KODYS SLOVENSKO was founded with the ambition to bring innovative solutions in the field of Auto-ID technologies that would help companies work more efficiently, accurately, and with better oversight.
The first few years were about building expertise, gaining customer trust, and finding the right technological paths. We gradually established ourselves as a system integrator in the field of Auto-ID and mobile applications for logistics, manufacturing, and retail. Innovation, comprehensive solutions, and a strong customer focus became the cornerstones of our work.
As time passed, not only did technology evolve, but so did customer expectations. Projects became more complex, processes more interconnected, and the need for accurate data increasingly important. Our company grew along with these developments. We expanded our portfolio of solutions, strengthened our team, and became involved in increasingly larger projects that were no longer tied to a single market.
An important milestone in 2004 was the establishment of the international IBCS Group www.ibcsgroup.com, one of Europe's largest suppliers of Auto-ID technologies. This step opened up new opportunities for cooperation, enabled the sharing of know-how across countries, and confirmed that our solutions are competitive even in an international context.
Gradually, KODYS SLOVENSKO became a strong and respected brand whose solutions work not only on the domestic market but also abroad, in various industries and environments. At a certain point, however, a natural question arose: does our name reflect the reality of who we are today? The answer was clear. The geographical designation in the name began to limit us – not in terms of our capabilities, but in how the foreign market perceived us. In many countries, we were confused with Slovenia, and in some, they had no idea where Slovakia was located😊
And so the next logical step came. From January 31, 2026, we will operate under the new business name KODYS SOLUTIONS s. r. o. A name that better reflects what we do today – we design and deliver technology solutions regardless of borders. Solutions that adapt to customer needs and streamline their processes and productivity.
However, the name change does not mean a change in values. Our team, know-how, human, decent, and fair approach to customers, partners, employees, and, of course, the quality of our services and products remain unchanged. What is changing is the way we talk about ourselves externally. Along with the new name, we have also slightly updated our visual identity to make it more modern, more digital, and ready to operate in a global environment, while still clearly building on the history of the KODYS brand.
Today, we stand on the solid foundations of thirty years of experience, while looking ahead to the future. Under the KODYS SOLUTIONS brand, we want to continue to grow, develop software solutions for logistics, warehousing, and asset management, strengthen international projects, and bring innovation in the field of automation and intelligent data management.
This story is not changing, it is simply continuing.
With the same commitment, greater opportunities, and a new name.
