Applicator

Application

Top performance for all applications

Applicators typically operate at high speed during the labelling process and apply up to 14 million labels. This means that the applicator has to perform up to 28 million movements per year during its lifetime. Logopak applicators are designed for maximum performance, ensuring a high 99.8 percent uptime that is unmatched in the market. They guarantee accurate and reliable labelling of your products while our intelligent sensor technology gives you a comprehensive overview of all relevant processes.

The best solutions for every application

When it comes to marking your products, whether large or small, with smooth or uneven surfaces, applied to corners or convex surfaces, to products moving or stopping on a conveyor, we have a wide range of applicators for your every requirement. Depending on the operating side of the machine, the direction of conveyor movement and the position of the machine, a variety of application methods and variations are possible, providing excellent flexibility.

High vacuum application technique

Some manufacturers install fans on the application plates of their applicators to create a vacuum during label application. In most cases, however, these fans are not only error-prone, but often not powerful enough to reliably hold the labels on the dispensing plate, resulting in the labels falling off before they reach the product. Logopak applicators use a high vacuum technique to ensure that the printed label is securely held on the dispensing plate during transfer to the product. As noise cannot be avoided when working with high vacuum air pressure, Logopak applicators are fitted with silencers to ensure quiet operation.

Continuous and reliable vacuum control via state-of-the-art sensor technology is one of the distinguishing features of Logopak applicators. You can be sure that every product will be accurately labelled. The trial-and-error experience is a thing of the past, as the system only changes from "vacuum" to "application" mode when the applicator touches the product or when an external signal indicates this.

High quality components

Only high-quality materials such as anodised aluminium and stainless steel are used in the development and manufacture of the applicators, guaranteeing long life and excellent labelling results. No plastics or other materials susceptible to wear are used, which is an ideal prerequisite for many years of reliable operation.

Real-time printing and application

Logopak devices provide fast and efficient real-time printing and application processes. The printed label is transferred to the application plate and applied to the product via a telescopic system using gentle pressure and compressed air.

Non-contact and gentle application

The contactless application of labels is another advantage of Logopak applicators. It consists in switching the vacuum to blow at exactly the right moment to inflate the label onto the product. The main advantage compared to contact applicators is the speed of application, the possibility to apply while the products are moving or to avoid damaging the surface of the products.

Logopak devices are equipped with digital pressure sensors, including a visual control display, which ensure not only accurate but also gentle application of labels.

Valves can be quickly changed

Many manufacturers install valves in their equipment in a way that makes them difficult to access in the event of a malfunction. Air hoses and cables have to be removed with considerable effort.

Logopak applicators are equipped with an integrated function that allows quick manual testing of the valves. Faulty valves are therefore quickly identified and can be replaced with very little effort.
