A Warehouse Management System(WMS) can significantly reduce errors, speed up warehouse operations, reduce human resource involvement and ultimately reduce costs while increasing productivity. The deployment of a WMS is also a prerequisite for the meaningful use of a range of technologies, be it barcodes, RFID, voice picking or the use of automation.

Deploying a WMS will ensure that the warehouse operation is managed by the system, not the warehousemen. Ultimately, this can be the first step in moving from pencil and paper to digital, to the use of advanced robotics and automation. However, a warehouse management system is just a tool; its success is determined by its proper deployment in real operations.

In addition to selecting the right solution (i.e. a combination of software and hardware), the key to success is selecting the right integrator - a partner who will help not only with implementation, but also with integration into the information system and subsequent support and further development of the system.

Our first step is therefore always a thorough analysis of the logistics processes and the definition of the main objectives. Most often, we work with the logistics manager or warehouse manager or operations director from the beginning to identify the biggest problems, verify the current functional procedures and determine the realistic possibilities of the entire logistics chain.

Without a thorough initial analysis, we would not be able to design a workable solution, ensure a smooth implementation and provide follow-up support. This often includes training employees, evaluating critical points and passing on our many years of experience and knowledge.
